Start on the 24th of the sixth lunar month, the Torch Festival is a major traditional festival of Minority Yi, which lasts two or three days as usual. Yi people consider that this celebration is for the blessing of the grains, so that they can come out as strong as the torch fire. From generation to generation, Yi people use the torch fire to fight against the evil things about the field and in their houses as well. Nowadays, during the carnival, dressed in the splendid costumes with sparkling ornaments, young men and women sing and dance hand in hand around the bonfire on the carnival to express their appreciation to the fire and the good wishes to the coming year. Enjoy the grand carnival of the Torch Festival, the activities traditional of Minority Yi, such as Bullfight, Horse Racing, Wrestling, etc.

Arrival in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, hometown of Panda, meet with guide and transfer to hotel. Overnight in 4*Minshan Lhasa Hotel
Day02 19.07. SUN Chengdu – Ebian – Heizhu Gou B/L/D
Drive all the way to Hezhugou via Ebian, enroute enjoy the great landscape, and sightseeing in the Valley Heizhu Gou. Overnight in Hot Spring Hotel
Day03 20.07. MON Heizhu Gou – Dafengding – Meigu B/L/D
In the morning drive for Meigu, enroute across the Pass of Dafengding, there is the Reserve of Dafengding. Overnight in Hongyan Guesthouse
Day04 21.07. TUE Meigu – Zhaojue – Butuo B/L/D

In the early morning drive to Wuxu Hai Lake, and Riluku Grassland, then drive to Kangding via Xinduqiao. Overnight in 4*Lamuze Linka Hotel
Day12 29.07. WED Kangding – Yaan – Chengdu B/L/D
Drive across the tunnel of Mt. Erlang Shan to Yaan, and head for the Panda Park in Bifengxia, and then to the ancient town Shangli. Then drive back to Chengdu. Overnight in 4*Minshan Lhasa Hotel

Transfer to airport and see off.
